About Lumuria
Lumuria™ is the progressive rock project of Mexican twin brothers Emiliano and Pepe Galaz, blending prog rock, alternative rock, and elements of regional Mexican music to create a distinctive sound within the Mexican progressive rock scene. The band explores themes of nostalgia, heartache, and introspection, producing emotionally rich and dynamic compositions. Their most notable single, “Me Rehúso A Olvidar,” highlights their signature approach — a modern, expressive track rooted in Mexican progressive rock. Beyond their own releases, Lumuria collaborates as producers and musicians with artists such as Julio G and Montserrat, experimenting with fusions of prog rock and popular genres like corrido tumbado and alternative pop. In 2022, Lumuria shared the stage with iconic international progressive rock bands, including Saga and Brit Floyd, at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico — a milestone that solidified their presence as an emerging force in Mexican progressive rock

Performance at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico
In 2022, Lumuria took part in an event at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico, where they performed alongside Saga (a Canadian progressive rock band) and Brit Floyd (the official Pink Floyd tribute), solidifying their presence beyond Mexico.

Lumuria in Mexico’s Spanish Rock Scene
After their successful performances in Puerto Rico, Lumuria returned to Mexico in 2023 for their first show in Tulum, marking their debut in the country and stepping onto Mexico’s progressive rock and alternative music scene.
